Logon Methods Overview

Custom Logon Pages
Custom logon pages may be built to access Four51. Using one allows you to create a unique logon experience for your users with a custom look, feel and branding.

Creating a custom logon page requires that you construct an html document (or other similar type of web page) and host the page using your company's own resources. Four51 does not host custom logon pages.

Single Sign-On
Four51’s Single Sign-On service allows companies that maintain a user database that is external to Four51 to seamlessly log a user into a Four51 buyer site without the user re-entering a username and password. In these scenarios, users are typically authenticated on their own systems first and then gain access to Four51 via a web browser. Four51’s Single Sign-On service handles user creation, eliminating the need to sync external user databases with Four51’s database.

Logon Page Configuration
Using the Logon Page Configuration feature, you can create simple, personalized logon pages for your customers and your company. Customization options include:
  1. Displaying your company's logo
  2. Displaying your customer's logo
  3. Hiding the Four51 logo
Your personalized logon page may be distributed as a bookmark or embedded on a website.

Advanced Custom Logon Page Features
If you are using a custom logon page, there are several advanced features you may incorporate to control and handle various scenarios. Four51 provides tools to help with:
  1. Log off handling.
  2. Logon and session error handling.
  3. Directing a user to a specific product or category upon logon.
Four51 Logon Page
The Four51 logon page is the most common way users access the application. It is useful to bookmark the page as a favorite or embed it as a link on your website.
