Create Admin Users

Note: Per the July 2016 Release and as part of SOC 2 security compliance, the new Admin user activation process has been updated. Please see steps 5 and 6 for details.
Note: Only users assigned the permission "Modify and Create Admin Users" may create administrative users. Contact your company's Four51 administrator to be setup with these privileges.

To create a new administrative user, complete the following:

1. Log into your Administrative interface.
2. Click the "Admin" top navigation tab.
3. In the left navigation bar, click "New Admin User."
4. You should now see something like the following:

5. Complete all required fields. 
     NOTE: The Email Address MUST be a valid email address that the new Admin user has access to. This is how they will activate their account and set their password.
6. Click the "Send Registration Email" button. This will send the new Admin user an email from the email address surefire@four51.com with instructions on how to activate their account. They will also be instructed to set their password upon initial login.

7. Configure Permissions:

a. "Change credit card orders" allows the user to adjust pricing (including shipping and handling, tax and line item pricing), as well as all other aspects of a buyer company order where the payment method is a credit card.
b. "Change non card orders" allows the user to adjust pricing (including shipping and handling, tax and line item pricing), as well as all other aspects of a buyer company order where the payment method is not a credit card.
c. "Settle credit card" allows the user to settle credit card orders.
d. "View all buyer companies" allows the user to view catalogs and orders for all buyer companies in the administrative interface.
e. "Modify and Create Admin users" allows the user to create and administer Admin users in the administrative interface.  This includes the ability to assign administrative user catalog and order access, as well as create, modify and delete administrative users.
f. "Edit Themes" allows the user to create and manage custom themes.
g. "Create Buyer Companies" allows the user to build additional buyer companies.
h. "Delete Buyer Companies" allows the user to delete buyer companies.
i. "View Reports" allows the user to view the Reports top navigation tab.
j.  "Manage Promotions" allows the user to create and manage coupons and gift cards.
k.  "Manage Projects" allows the user to create and manage variable text projects.
l.  "Xml Web Services Administration" provides the user with the ability to manipulate and resend xml transactions.
m.  "Create and Edit Admin Message" allows the user to update the message that appears on the Home page left navigation.
n.  "Edit Sales Tax Rate" allows the user to create and manage Sales Tax on the Admin tab.
o.  "Edit Shipper and Ship Methods" allows the user to create and manage Shipping on the Admin tab.
p.  "Edit Custom Fields" allows the user to create and manage Custom User and Custom Order fields on the Admin tab.
q.  "Edit Spending Accounts" allows the user to create and manage Spending Accounts on the Admin tab.

8. Once you have chosen any and all desired permissions, click "Save Permissions."
