Clone User

An administrative user can clone an existing user to quickly duplicate common user settings as they create a new buyer user.

A cloned user will receive the following set-up from the original user:
   1.   Buyer company association
   2.   Group associations
   3.   Admin-created address associations
         a.  NOTE: User created addresses are NOT associated
   4.   Cost center associations
   5.   Permissions
   6.   Category assignments
   7.   Product assignments (including variants)
   8.   Admin-created credit card assignments
         a.   NOTE: User created cards are NOT associated
   9.   Ship Method assignments

To create a cloned user, complete the following:
   1.   Log onto your Administrative interface.
   2.   Click the “Buyers” top navigation tab.
   3.   Select the buyer company with which you are working.
   4.   Click the “Users” tab.
   5.   Select a user by clicking on the name. You should now see something similar to the following:

   6.   Click the “Clone User” link.

NOTE: Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).
   7.  Fill out the user fields:
         a.   First Name: This will appear on orders and emails.
         b.   Last Name: This will appear on orders and emails.
         c.   Phone Number: This field is informational only.
         d.   Email Address: This must be a valid email address. It is used for communication of order statuses.
         e.   User Name: The username must be unique across ALL Four51 users.
         f.   Interop ID: This is usually a unique number used to identify someone on an outside system such as a billing application.
         g.   Password: The password must meet security level that is set on the Edit Company Information page.
         h.   Confirm Password: Used to ensure you typed the correct password.
         i.   Active: Check this box if the user should be active immediately.
   8.   Click the “Clone User” button.
   9.   The new user will now appear in the list of users for that buyer company.
   10.  Manage cloned users the same way as all other users.
