Buyer User Coupon Use

When a coupon is applied to an order, the order total will adjust.  Please be aware that the View Promotions permission must be assigned.

A buyer user may apply a coupon to his order by following these steps:

1. Log into the Buyer interface.
2. Add an item to the cart.
3. Enter the coupon code in the Promotion Code box and click the “Apply” button.
   1. NOTE: The “Promotion Code” and “Apply” text can be changed in Site Customization.  
4. ​​​You will see the coupon applied in the Subtotal area.
   1. ​NOTE: Coupons that are calculated after shipping will not display a dollar amount. Instead an icon holds the place of the amount and a mouse over tells the user the value will be calculated later.  Also, only one coupon may be applied to each order.  
5. The coupon can be removed by clicking on the "remove coupon" button just below the coupon.
6. ​Complete the checkout process and click the “Submit” button.
7. The coupon will display on the Order View page
