Delete a Category

To delete a category:

1. Click on the category name from the Product Catalog or Categories pages.
2. Click the “Delete” button at the bottom of the page.

WARNING: Categories that are deleted cannot be retrieved. If you delete a category and then decide you want a category with the same name again, you will have to recreate it. You may want to consider marking a category as inactive rather than deleting it.  To make a category inactive, un-check the "Active" check-box which is found toward the middle of the page.
